Sheffield & Hallamshire FA will be hosting a number of events for young female footballers from the regions Primary Schools in the coming months. The County FA organises these events in order to encourage youngsters to get involved with the game so that female participation continues to grow. This is a great opportunity for your school and girls to get involved.
The Fair Play League has been rescheduled to start in March with sessions being held for Year 3/4 girls on Tuesdays, 4 – 5PM on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th March 2010.
All sessions will be held at the Sheffield United Training Academy. Primary Schools wishing to enter a team into the South Yorkshire Girls
Primary School Tournament are requested to complete the application form

The Annual Festival for Year 5/6 girls will be held again at Sheffield United Training Academy on Wednesday 17th March 2010. The event will start at 10am and finish at 3.30 pm. Four teams from this festival will qualify to represent Sheffield in the annual South Yorkshire Girls Primary School Tournament.
Festivals will also be held in Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster with over 3,000 taking part. Each regional final will see four teams qualify to face Sheffield and the other areas in the final.
The South Yorkshire Girls Primary School Tournament Final will be held again at the Sheffield United Training Academy on Wednesday 16th June 2010.
